Rozanne Pate is a fine art digital photo artist living in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada.
In 2012 Rozanne discovered digital photo art and it became an instant passion. She began taking online courses, tutorials, practicing different techniques and participating in competitions. Rozanne is proficient at Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom as well as many other photo editing software programs. She continues to learn new skills and techniques.
A Photo-artistic life continues to inspire Rozanne and she loves creating art with mysterious and magical elements. She hopes her work captures your attention and makes you question what it means to you.
Rozanne’s work has been published in both ‘Living the Photo Artistic Life’ and ‘Awake Photography’ International Art Magazines. She has twice won the Monthly ‘Shift Art Challenge’, an International internet site dedicated to highlighting Photoshop artists and their work.
While living in Vernon BC, Rozanne displayed and sold her images at the Vernon Community Art Gallery and produced some privately commissioned canvases.
Rozanne continues to expand her knowledge of photography with the guidance and companionship of her husband Joe (formally a professional photographer). In 2019 she became a member of CAPA - The Canadian Association for Photographic Art. Since joining CAPA she has won both merit and honorable mention awards as well as a bronze medal in the 2020 North Shore Challenge (a premiere photography competition and show on the Canadian West Coast) for her image ‘Sprinkling Stardust’.
The CAPA honor which Rozanne is most proud of is having her image ’End of the Trail’ chosen as one of those representing Canada in the Four Nations Competition between Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
Rozanne is looking forward to exploring the prairies and creating unique artworks at her new Medicine Hat home. If you have a project in mind, contact Rozanne to discuss your ideas. The sky’s the limit and don't forget, magic is possible!!
